Drama Workshops

This group is ideal for those who wish to:​

  • Develop their acting skills

  • ​Explore different types of drama

  • Have fun and make friends while learning something new

  • Build confidence

  • Learn core skills in preparation for joining our Junior Youth Theatre 

Saturday 1:30-3pm

Age 7-12

Our drama workshops are especially for young people aged 7-12 years old who have an interest in theatre and drama. This group develops participant's confidence and theatre skills through activities such as improvisation, devised sketches and drama games, so come and explore your inner thespian!

 

As with all our groups, the young people themselves influence the direction of the workshops. In previous years the members of the group have opted to create their own short films where they perform a range of roles. One of the films they created can be seen below.
