Dandy Dan's hoodlums terrorise the district, exterminating undesirables with their new weapon splurge guns. His rival, Fat Sam Stacetto, engages the help of Bugsy Malone, a smooth city slicker who has been more occupied in sweet talking Blousey Brown, a would be girl singer. With Bugsy's help, Fat Sam escapes from a frame up but he learns later that Dandy Dan's mob have splurged nearly all his gang. Fat Sam is set on revenge and needs Bugsy to help him get even.

Full of splurge, custard pies and flour bombs, we thought it would be a good idea for our Junior Musical Theatre to perform Bugsy Malone as their inaugural performance. Years later and we’re still finding splurge in our hair! Mess aside, this is a very important performance we hold dear to our heart, marking the first of many performances in the newly renovated Tivoli Theatre and, for many of the cast, their first time on stage in a real theatre!
