Community Projects
At Shazam, we run a range of community groups and special projects, which are funding dependent. Shazam believes that all young people should have access to the arts.
Through offering opportunities to access these groups in regeneration areas free of charge, Shazam pride themselves on removing barriers and improving access to the arts.

These groups are ideal for those who wish to:
-
Explore drama for the first time
-
Make new friends
-
Build confidence and self esteem
-
Attend local theatre performances (where partner support is available)
-
Build life skills and improve literacy

PRINTFIELD
Previously, Shazam ran lunchtime drama workshops in Primary Schools in-and-around Northfield and Tullos. This was supported by our funding partners at UDecide.

In 2017/2018, Shazam ran two youth theatre projects with Middlefield and Printfield Community Projects. Both groups created and performed their own pieces of musical theatre. This was supported by "The Year of the Young People" fund from Aberdeen City Council.
