Senior Musical Theatre

This group is ideal for those who wish to:​

  • ​Learn about singing and movement in addition to acting

  • Work towards an annual musical theatre production

  • Participate in a wide variety of performances

  • Build core skills and gain experience in performing arts

 

Wednesday 7:15-9pm

Age 16-30

This group is the natural progression from our younger musical group, although the group also has members who have joined us with no previous experience in musical theatre or drama. 

  

Our past projects include performances of ‘Belly Buttons’ and ‘The Parent Craft’ at the Scottish Community Drama Association competition in Aberdeen and also performing ‘The Ginger-Ale Boy’ in Aberdeen and internationally as part of the Prague Fringe Festival. In addition to performing in the fabulous city of Prague, the group also had the privilege of experiencing the local culture and enjoying other shows which were part of the festival.

 

Each year the group presents an annual spring production in Aberdeen with previous shows including ‘25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee’,  'Awaking Beauty' and 'Popstars: The 90's Musical'.
